    Start a Trip

    1. Click the START A TRIP icon on your My Home page
    2. Select trip type from the Create a Trip form
    3. Click SUBMIT button

    Edit My Contact Info

    1. Click Contact Info link in My Profile folder
    2. Makes changes to your Contact Information
    3. Click SAVE to save your changes

    Change Logo

    1. Click Contact Info link in My Profile folder
    2. Click BROWSE button
    3. Select the logo file you want to upload
    4. New logo will be displayed
    5. Click SAVE to save your changes

    Note: Agency Logos managed by your Agency Administrator cannot be modified or deleted.

    Renew Monthly Subscription

    Edit Subscription Payment Information

    1. Click My Account link in My Profile folder
    2. Click Payment Profile tab on left side tab set
    3. Enter your payment information

    Cancel My Subscription

    1. Click My Account link in My Profile folder
    2. Click the "Cancel my subscription" link
    3. Click Yes, please cancel my account
    4. Notice of cancellation must be received ten (10) days prior to the end of the previous monthly billing cycle. An email confirmation will be sent to you to confirm the cancellation.

    Edit Journal Branding

    1. Click Journal Branding link in My Preferences folder
    2. Makes changes to your Information
    3. Click PREVIEW BOOK button to review your changes
    4. Click DONE button to close the preview
    5. Click SAVE to save your changes

    2. Makes changes to your Information
    3. Click PREVIEW "RETURN TO" LINK button if you made "Return to" changes

    Create Trip Template

    1. Click Templates link in My Trip Plans folder
    2. Click NEW TEMPLATE button
    3. Follow steps for trip name, dates, interests and activities
    4. Template is automatically saved and will be displayed in your My Trip Templates listing

    View/Edit Trip Template

    1. Click Templates link in My Trip Plans folder
    2. Click View icon on Template you want to edit or view
    3. View or make Changes to Template selected
    4. Changes made to Template will be automatically saved

    Delete Trip Template

    2. Click on the Delete icon (X) on Template you want to delete

    Use Trip Template to create trip plan for my customer

    1. Click Templates link in My Trip Plans folder
    2. Click Use this Template to copy it and begin trip planning
    3. Assign a customer to this trip plan
    4. Rename trip, insert correct dates and modify as needed
    5. Share trip plan with customer, if desired.
    6. Trip plan will be added to your customer's trip listing

    Create a booklet suitable for duplex (2-sided) printing

    1. Open trip plan in your My Trips or My Customer Listing
    2. Click the Preview link on the trip plan you want to convert for printing
    3. Click the Print and Order Tab
    4. Click the Save as PDF button
    5. Download and Save the trip plan (pdf file)
    6. Open another browser and go to http://www.bookletcreator.com/ to purchase the application or open the application if you have purchased it previously
    7. Browse to find the saved pdf
    8. Pages per booklet should be set to All
    9. Result sheet size should be set to Auto
    10. Click CREATE BOOKLET button
    11. Save converted trip plan

    Add Customer Trip

    1. Click the START A TRIP button on the My Home page
    2. Select For a Customer Folder from the Create a Trip form
    3. Click SUBMIT button
    4. Select customer from customer listing by clicking the arrow in the Select Customer column
    5. If customer is not listed, Add customer
    6. Proceed with usual trip planning steps
    7. Trip will be saved in customer's trips listing

    Copy Customer Trip

    1. Click Customer Listing link in My Customers folder
    2. Locate the customer; then click the Show Trips icon
    3. Click the Copy icon of the trip you want to copy.
    4. Select customer from customer listing
    5. If customer is not listed, Add customer
    6. Proceed with usual trip planning steps
    7. Trip will be saved in customer's trips listing

    Edit Customer Trip

    1. Click Customer Listing link in My Customers folder
    2. Locate the customer; then click the Show Trips icon
    3. Click the Trip Name of the trip you want to edit.

    Add Private Activities to Customer Trip

    1. Click Customer Listing link in My Customers folder
    2. Locate the customer; then click the Show Trips icon
    3. Click the Trip Name of the trip you want to edit.
    4. Click the Activities link; Interests from the drop down
    5. Click the Private Activities tab
    6. Add Activity to Itinerary or Bookmark.

    View Customer Trip Itinerary

    1. Click Customer Listing link in My Customers folder
    2. Locate the customer; then click the Show Trips icon
    3. Click the Itinerary icon for the trip itinerary you want to view
    4. Click the PRINT button to print a copy, if desired.
    5. Click CLOSE button to close.

    3. Click the Delete icon for the trip you want to delete

    Affiliations

    Agency and Travel Professional certification data that you provide. We use this information to validate your credentials.

    Agency Administrator

    Independent members who purchased their membership individually do not have an agency administrator; they manage their own account. If your membership is associated with an Agency, the Agency has appointed an administrator who manages Agency-level content for iZento Professional on your behalf. The Agency Administrator maintains the travel professional membership listing, extends invitations for their travel professionals to register, and loads agency information onto the website for your use. This could be the agency logo or private agency activities for you to use in your trip plans.

    Branded Journal

    All travel professionals trip plans are branded with their contact information and agency logo if one has been loaded into the system. This branding applies to all printed and virtual copies of the trip plan and cannot be removed or altered. Another excellent source of advertising; anytime one of your trip plans is shared, you will be credited as the travel expert who created the trip.

    Calendar

    An interactive planning tool that helps you and/or the traveler fine tune the itinerary. Activities can be moved to different days (calendar will advise if the day is unavailable) or locked to prevent rescheduling. Scheduling conflicts are highlighted with suggestions for resolution. Reservations that you add to the trip plan are also noted.

    Customer Trip

    A Trip Plan you create for your client that is saved in the clients folder.

    Database Search

    The My Tools tab provides access to all of iZento's searchable databases. We have made our air, cruise, hotel and destination information available to you as a reference library of travel information. The Destination information is especially powerful as it allows you to expand your knowledge to all 300+ of our enhanced destinations. You can also use it to search for activities to fill an empty slot in a client's itinerary by searching on their interests at a specific destination, date and time interval.

    Itinerary Matrix

    A comprehensive summary of all the elements of a trip plan. The Itinerary Matrix can be printed and shared with your customer or viewed online while discussing options for your customer's trip. Not available on the iZento public site and only accessible by travel professionals.

    Journal

    This is the end product of your trip plan. It can be a virtual version of the trip or a printed version. Either can easily be shared.

  •  

    Journal Order

    When you order a professionally printed journal, your order is tracked and delivery information is updated every 24 hours. Just click the Journal Orders link in either the My Customers or My Tools pages.

    My Trip

    A Trip Plan you create for any purpose. It can be converted into a template or copied and converted into a customer trip. Unlike a template, this is a fully featured trip plan with personalized information.

    Print Journals

    There are 2 options available to produce hard copy of a trip plan, e.g. journal. (1)Local printing and (2) the professionally printed booklet available on the iZento website on the Print and Share page, ORDERING OPTIONS button. We strongly encourage you to try the professionally printed journals. It is one of our most popular features and a marvelous, branded take along that your clients will appreciate.

    Print Journals - Advanced

    If you want to print the Journal in booklet format, you can download the PDF file of the journal by clicking the Save as PDF button on the Print and Order page. To convert the PDF into a printable 5 X 7.5 booklet (duplex/2-sided printer required) we recommend http://www.bookletcreator.com/ or try Adobe Reader booklet conversion at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Reader/8.0/help.html (Click: Printing/Other Ways to Print/Print a Booklet).

    Private Activities

    Private activities (attractions, excursions, etc.) that either you and/or your Agency Administrator have added to the Activities database. Visible only to you during the Activity selection phase of a trip planning session (Your clients do not have a Private Activities tab). Private activities are visible to your customers only after you add them to a Trip Plan as an activity or a bookmark.

    Collaborate

    You can share a virtual, branded copy of any Trip Plan you create. You set the sharing permissions to Edit privileges to collaborate with your customer. Your customer will be asked to register on the iZento site before they are able to Edit a trip plan; registration is NOT required for viewing. Trip Plans started by your customers can also be shared with you using the same process.

    Trip Template

    When you create a Trip Template you select a destination (or multiple destinations), a suggested timeframe, and activities that form the foundation for a trip you want to use for your customers. Think of Templates as a ”Quick Start” to customer trip plans that contain the elements you like to use on a frequent basis. If you are an expert on a specific destination, a template could contain your suggestions for travel to that destination. When you CONVERT the template into a customer trip plan, you will rename the trip and apply dates that reflect your customer's itinerary, as well as customizing the activities to meet their preferences and completing the details of the trip.

    TripOptimizer ™

    An intelligent scheduler that makes quick work of complex trips plans, providing detailed itineraries with just a few clicks of your mouse. The TripOptimizer is a proprietary algorithm that schedules reservations and a list of activities into a trip plan to maximize the traveler's time, making their daily schedule more efficient and their travel dollars go further. Selected activities are scheduled based on geographical proximity as well as availability; if we don't have precise availability information for a given activity, we'll advise you so you can verify. If you have added the traveler's reservations (air, hotel, car, cruise, transfer) TripOptimizer knows when the traveler will be where, and schedules accordingly.

    Web Link

    You can add a link on your website that links to the iZento public site with your branding on every page. The Return Ticket provides a quick and easy way for your customer to return to your web site. We will protect your relationship with your customers anytime they are on the iZento site: Travelers who come to iZento via your web site will not be asked if they want a travel professional recommendation nor will they be shown recommended templates from other travel professionals.
