We at (“the Site”) know that the privacy of your personal information is important to you, and we appreciate your trust that our policy will respect your privacy and any personal information that you choose to provide to us. This notice describes our privacy policy; please read it carefully, as your use of any part of the Site will constitute your agreement to this Privacy Policy. If you cannot agree with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected elsewhere, including, without limitation, offline or on sites linked to through the Site.

In addition to reviewing this Privacy Policy, please read the appriproate User Agreement. Your use of the Site constitutes agreement to the User Agreement as well.

This Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time; the date of the most recent revisions will appear on this page. Continued use of the Site by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to the Privacy Policy.

What Personal Information Does Collect?

For all users we collect standard analytical information such as IP address, browser type, domain name, access times, duration of visit, referring URL, platform, new and repeat information, time stamp and exit page information.

Personal information is not required to use the Site; if you register with iZento, we ask for basic information including your email address and a password you create, and allow you to provide us with other information including your or your client's travel information and preferences.

Should you choose to share and/or communicate itineraries created on the site with other users, you may, at your sole discretion, provide them personal information. If you are or choose to work with a Travel Professional through the Site, the Travel Professional may wish to collect personal information such as your name, physical address, telephone numbers, and other personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to assist the Travel Professional in completing an itinerary. Personal Information you provide to a Travel Professional in the itinerary-planning process will be stored by iZento, but only be accessible by the host Travel Agency or Agencies associated with the Travel Professional with whom you shared it through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection. iZento will not publish or otherwise share this personal information; sharing of your itineraries or personal information by you or your Travel Professional will be the sole responsibility of the person or entity that shared the information, and you agree that iZento will not be liable for any privacy violations that result.

There is no provision on the site for collecting sensitive personal information such as date of birth, social security number, or passport number. When needed, credit card information is collected temporarily and forwarded to our payment processor, then immediately purged from our system. Should you choose to enter any sensitive personal information in a free-text area (e.g., a Notes field), you do so at your own risk, as this information is subject to dissemination when you or others share your itinerary. Should you elect to share an itinerary containing sensitive personal information, you agree to accept responsibility for sharing or removal of this information, and hold iZento harmless if your privacy is violated as a result of your entering and sharing this information.

Examples of Information Collected

Automatic Information
Examples of the information we collect and analyze include the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information such as browser type, version, and time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform; the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) click stream to, through, and from our Web site, including date and time. We may also use browser data such as cookies, Flash cookies (also known as Flash Local Shared Objects), or similar data on certain parts of our Website for fraud prevention and other purposes. During some visits we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

Information from Other Sources

Examples of information we receive from other sources include updated purchase and delivery notification (not to include your credit information) and page-view information from some merchants with which we operate co-branded businesses or for which we provide technical, fulfillment, advertising, or other services.

Information You Give Us

You provide information when you:

  • select a destination, select travel dates, select interests and activities
  • place an order through one of our third-party providers
  • provide information in Your Account or Your Profile
  • communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise
  • provide personal information in an itinerary, then subsequently choose to share that itinerary. Whatever personal information you chose to add in an itinerary will be displayed in the itinerary when you post or share it through the Site. Therefore, users with whom you have chosen to share itineraries may be able to personally identify you.
  • provide comments, testimonials, or recommendations to public areas of the site. (If we publish this content, we will identify the author in a way that does not compromise his privacy (e.g., by first name, first letter of last name, and home city.)

Information you can access includes a history of recent Journal orders; personal information (including name, e-mail, password); e-mail notification settings; and your personal Profile.

What About Cookies?

A cookie is a unique identifier sent to your computer by a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie lets a computer server identify your computer, and allows many sites to greet you upon every return with a personalized message even before you actively login. We use cookies to personalize your user experience and shorten the time required to create an itinerary. Our cookies do not include any sensitive information, but they do help us track which of our Web pages are visited and what services are most often used.

The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Additionally, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by changing the add-on's settings or visiting the Website of its manufacturer. However, because cookies enhance your experience with the Site, we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Does Share the Information It Receives?

The information we gather is used solely to create and maintain your or your client's travel itineraries and profile and, at your discretion, to send you email or other messages. We also use the information that we gather to ensure the content on the Site—as well as the content of any other communication you have agreed to receive from us-- more closely matches your interests.

When you use the Site, the personal information you provide can be shared with the third parties you designate for access to such information, including your friends, relatives, business associates, and Travel Professionals. Depending upon the type of access you grant to such third parties, they may also be permitted to edit the information you have provided and to designate others to access and edit such information. You acknowledge that iZento has no control of or liability for privacy violations caused by information or itineraries that are forwarded, printed, posted, or otherwise shared by those to whom you granted such access. Additionally, when you send email or other communications to iZento, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our service.

iZento has no interest in and does not market to private individuals. Client information supplied by Travel Professionals is not shared with 3rd parties for any reason.

Client information collected by the ClientBase-iZento Connector API program is limited to client first and last names. This information is deleted from our data base when the trip journal is automatically deleted 30 days after travel ends.

From time to time, we also may share general statistical information about our Site and visitors such as the number of visitors, aggregate and non-personally identifiable demographic data, etc., with our advertisers and partners. However, we will not reveal your or your client's name, address or any other individual data.

We share customer information only as described below and with entities that either are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling/delivering orders, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
  • Protection of and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our User Agreement and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. However this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.
  • With Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

We work to protect the security of your information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software for password transmission, and to protect all information on Travel -Professional pages. Travel-Professional pages are defined as pages accessible only to Travel Professionals with a current Site subscription, and that contain information and history on the Travel Professional’s specific customers.

Though we may collect credit card information temporarily for real-time forwarding to payment processors, no credit card information is stored on the iZento site. All transactions are processed on the sites of the appropriate third-party provider during order processing. See Third Party Service Providers above.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

We maintain data handling and storage practices and procedures that are designed to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of user information. Current Internet security methods and technologies are used to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information.

What about Third-Party Advertisers and Links to Other Websites?

Our site includes third-party advertising and links to other websites. Such links do not constitute an endorsement by iZento of those External Web Sites. iZento is providing these links to you as a convenience, and iZento is not responsible for the content of such External Web Sites. Your use of External Web Sites is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies located on the linked to External Web Sites. We do not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these advertisers or third-party websites.

These third-party websites and advertisers, or Internet advertising companies working on their behalf, sometimes use technology to send (or "serve") the advertisements that appear on our website directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (also known as action tags or single-pixel gifs), and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. We do not have access to or control over cookies or other features that they may use, and the information practices of these advertisers and third-party websites are not covered by this Privacy Notice. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices. Although does not provide any personal information to advertisers, advertisers (including ad-serving companies) may assume that users who interact with or click on a targeted advertisement meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

What Choices Do I Have?

You can always choose not to provide information, though this choice may impact your experience with the site, as iZento cannot incorporate any user information or preferences to improve the efficiency of the Site.
Registration is required. If you choose not to register, the trip planning features of the Site will be inaccessible.

In the MyTrips section of the Site, you may make changes to your account and change your email address, password, and/or contact information.

You may have your account permanently deleted from the Site by instructing us to do so in writing (, and supplying a valid user name and password. You accept sole responsibility for deletion of your account, whether initiated by you or by another person with whom you chose to share your user name and password.

As explained above, we use cookies to improve your experience with our Site and reduce the time it takes for you to prepare an itinerary. You may choose not to receive a cookie file by enabling your Web browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie. Please be aware, however, that by refusing to accept cookies, you may be unable to access all the capabilities of the Site.

What is iZento’s policy on children using the Site?

Children are not eligible to use our services and we ask that minors (anyone under the age of 18) not submit any personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or permit them to use our Site. If you are under 18, you may use only with the written permission of or active involvement of a parent or guardian.

Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions

If you choose to visit, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our User Agreement, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of California.

Our business is constantly evolving, and our Privacy Notice and the User Agreement will change over time. You should check our Web site frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account.


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Site, its members, owners, operators, officers, directors, employees, agents and their successors and assigns from and against any and all loss, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses), claims, damages and liabilities related to or associated with your use of the Site and any violation of this Privacy Policy by you.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy constitutes a contract made under and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

International Users

Our computer systems are currently based in the United States, so your personal data will be processed by us in the U.S. where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. If you create a user account with the Site as a visitor from outside the United States, by using the Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and you consent to the transfer of all such information to the United States, which may not offer an equivalent level of protection of that required in the European Union or certain other countries, and to the processing of that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
