I’m Diana, a passionate cook and mother, inspired daily by the vibrant beauty of the California coast. My journey into the culinary arts started years ago in Chicago, where I built my foundation as a chef and gained invaluable experience in catering. When I moved back to California, I found love, and together with my husband, we’ve created a life overflowing with love, laughter, and the joy of raising our two children, Ava and Leo.
The allure of food has been a guiding light throughout my life, leading me to a role as a manager in a wellness center. There, I introduced the staff to my signature low-sugar baked goods, which were met with warm enthusiasm and helped me realize my calling for sharing nourishing, homemade meals.
In 2016, I joined forces with my dear friend, Mia, to launch Taste Haven, a blog originally centered on dessert recipes. Over time, it grew into a comprehensive culinary space, offering a broad selection of recipes and practical kitchen tips. Though Mia has since returned to the corporate world, her influence remains in every recipe we developed together.
Now, as I rename our blog to Diana’s Delightful Kitchen, I’m committed to maintaining our focus on health-conscious options—vegan, gluten-free, keto, and more—while also celebrating a bit of indulgence. With heartfelt gratitude for Mia’s contributions, I’m delighted to bring our combined family recipes to this vibrant space.
